Sustainability

Ethics & Sustainability

I currently only use Stanley/Stella tees, sweats and tie dye tote, because of their high ethical and sustainable standards for my unique design tee and sweats.

"GOODONYOU" app, rates them as GREAT (If you don't have this app yet I recommend you get it, it's free and shows how sustainable retail brands really are)

Stanley /Stella is an active member of the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF), a Dutch independent organisation aiming at improving workers conditions of labour in the garment industry worldwide. They are highly rated by FWF (Leader Company) as they recognise our real commitment and the positive impact of our concrete local actions.

Stanley/Stella has been ranked among the top 16 leading brands in sourcing sustainable materials. The only B2B brand to appear on the list.

They are made from 100% organic cotton (this requires much less water to grow, and contains no nasty chemicals) and recycled polyester.

All the items I print on are produced in factories with the strictest rules and regulations when it comes to ethics and the environment. Everything is either FAIRWEAR or WRAP certified. This means:

  • No use of child labour
  • No use of forced labour
  • Safe and healthy working conditions
  • Legal labour contracts
  • Environmentally friendly

My sweatshirts and tees have the following certifications:

GOTS- Global Organic Textile Standard

OEKO-TEX- free of harmful chemicals and safe for human use

PETA-vegan - no animal testing involves in any of the ingredients or products

FAIR WEAR -Foundation (FWF), a Dutch independent organisation aiming at improving workers conditions of labour in the garment industry worldwide.

All my clothing products are printed here in Scotland, my products are made with either 100% organic cotton, recycled cotton, recycled polyester, or a combination.

Sustainability is  very important to me. All  wholesalers that I deal with are taking steps to reduce their carbon footprint by using reusable plastic and cardboard packaging and shipping rather than flying products from overseas.

When I send out my orders, they are wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and posted in in eco-friendly biodegradable packaging, to reduce the impact on our environment.

By buying better quality items that are not mass produced and following my advice on how to care for them, you will have these items for years, and make your own contribution to helping the environment.
